Whitewater Fever Kayaking Class

Class Details

The four sessions include 2 lake sessions and 2 full river days. During which we'll practice eddy turns, peel outs, ferrying, river reading skills. wet exits, and self rescue techniques. After this class you will have the basic grasp on how to run class 2 rivers. It is best to stay on class 2 until you can catch every eddy and make every ferry. After that you can move up to 2+ and easy 3. Format: Monday evening and Tuesday evening on Lake Union from 6pm-8:30pm, Friday and Saturday on the river. Students for this class must be 17 years of age or order. Students provide: 1. Transportation to and from the river and a Discover Pass to park. Option to arrange carpools within class. 2. Synthetic, quick drying clothing to wear under the dry suit (including socks!) and glasses retainers (we have some available for purchase in-store). 3. Enthusiasm to learn!
