We are ON the Water, with docks right outside our office door. From there you can explore the beautiful Seattle waterways in a kayak, or Surf Lake Union on a Standup Paddle Board (SUP). Our kayaks and boards are not allowed through the Ballard Locks. From our docks on Lake Union, we have introduced thousands of people to the joys of kayaking each year. You can paddle from NWOC to Lake Washington, where you have some 80+ miles of paddling. We have 20+ models of kayaks available to tryout here on the lake, and several models of SUPs. We have experience with most of the kayaks that are made today, and have chosen a range of models that will fullfill the needs of most paddlers. We have singles, doubles and triples, some sit-on-tops, and Standup Paddle Boards (SUPs) for your paddling pleasure.

NOW INCLUDES SUPs! Here is an opportunity for frequent kayak & Standup Paddle Board (SUP) paddlers to reduce rental costs and get regular exercise without having to transport a boat or board! Yearly pass holders pay an up-front fee and paddle a kayak or board on Lake Union/Lake Washington (no overnight use or cartopping to other destinations) for a maximum of 4 hours per day for kayaks, up to 2 hours per day for SUPs during our regular hours of operation. The pass is valid for a one, two or three person kayak, or one SUP, and can be used as often as you'd like within these parameters: No weekends or holidays July and August for kayaks, but SUPS are available before 11am on weekends for a max of 2 hours, no Holidays. We reserve the right to not rent due to weather conditions (wind, cold, etc.)
Passes are available at NWOC for $249.00 plus tax, good for up to 4 hours/day/kayak, 2 hours/day/SUP, valid for 1 year from date of purchase
