Come paddle on the lake with us! No experience necessary.

We are ON the Water, with docks right outside our office door. From there you can explore the beautiful Seattle waterways in a kayak, or Surf Lake Union on a Standup Paddle Board (SUP).

From our docks on Lake Union, we have introduced thousands of people to the joys of kayaking each year. You can paddle from NWOC to Lake Washington, where you have some 80+ miles of paddling. We have 20+ models of kayaks available to tryout here on the lake, and several models of SUPs. We have experience with most of the kayaks that are made today, and have chosen a range of models that will fullfill the needs of most paddlers. We have singles, doubles and triples, some sit-on-tops, and Standup Paddle Boards (SUPs) for your paddling pleasure.

  Single	$14 per hour, prorated after 1st hour
  SUPs	$15 per hour, prorated after 1st hour
  Double	$20 per hour, prorated after 1st hour
  Triple	$22 per hour, prorated after 1st hour
  For Lake Union Rentals: You are charged for 1-hr minimum, prorated after that every 10 minutes. If you are out for 1.5 hrs, you are charged for 1.5 hours, etc. Mon-Friday: 3rd & 4th hours are free; Sat, Sun & Holidays: 4th hour free. Rental prices include: boat, paddle(s), life jackets(s), bilge pump, paddle float, spray skirt. In general, dress for the weather, and wear clothes and footwear that don't mind getting wet. On colder days, you are welcome to use a wetsuit without charge. Reservations can be made for rentals anytime, and are a good idea July & August for Lake Union or group rentals. Before a boat leaves our shop, we must have a signed waiver from all persons who will be paddling our boats.

  For Drysuit and Wetsuit rentals, Weekend is from Friday Afternoon to Sunday at close, or Monday before noon.

Here is an opportunity for frequent kayak paddlers to reduce rental costs, get regular exercise and learn a lot about different kayaks. Yearly pass holders pay an up-front fee and paddle our kayaks on Lake Union/Lake Washington (no overnight use or cartopping to other destinations) during our regular hours of operation. The pass is valid for a one, two or three person kayak (NOT SUPs) and can be used as often as you'd like within these parameters: May 15 - Sept 15, Mon. - Fri., no weekends or holidays; September 16 - May 14, everyday we are open.

Passes are available at NWOC for $249.00 plus tax, good for 1 year from time of purchase
